Every year the Glasgow Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society visit Mugdock, just north of Glasgow, for a Day in the Park. Branch members enjoy dancing to live music in the open air (whatever the weather), and encouraging visitors, bystanders, and anyone they can persuade, to join in. For many, especially foreign visitors, it’s the first encounter they have with our music and dance. These types of public displays do a lot to promote our culture, and present a very enjoyable experience for all concerned. The following Slideshow, video and YouTube clips are a compilation of events over the last few years.
